Lovebox/Paris/Mixmag...

Dear Blog,

It has been a busy few weeks recording and rehearsing but we now have loads of new material and a crazy new live set. After much messing around with some new bits of equipment a darker side to the material has also developed… namely tracks like ‘Walk Alone’ and ‘Stone Bridge’… Walk Alone is up on the space for you to have a listen…

We had the pleasure of doing a full feature interview with Mixmag last week as well which will be coming out at the end of the month. The photo shoot was pretty interesting… A lot of white paint and balloons in an east London studio! Will be in the shops very soon.

Lovebox is only round the corner so get your tickets now! We are playing on the Sunday with Joakim and Simian Mobile Disco on the relentless stage… Should be a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon… Will be posting set times in due course.

If you happen to be in Paris next week we will be at the Panic Room (101 Rue Amelot) for the Vulture Party on Wednesday 17th June. Alan Brax, Das Glow and Kila Kela are also on the line up so should be a good one… Feel free to send us a message on myspace for guest list action if you're in the area!

Time to plan, think and record...

Afternoon guys,

The last few months have been a nice period of planning, thinking and ultimately recording a demo album. Many hour has been spent sat round a computer either putting sounds, images or words together but we are on form and looking forward to officially getting some material out into the musical world.

So after a few date changes we have a release date set in stone... Monday 11th May. The first single is going to be 'The Cult Of Romance' which will be released on Alan Braxe's label Vulture. Alan has been a complete legend and has been working with us for a while now. He is also going to do a remix of the track with hopefully Break Bot getting involved on the remix front as well...

Details of the release and information on how to get hold of a limited edition vinyl copy will be up shortly...

Yep, finally we have got our act together and have started a blog. It's really in preparation for the new year as lots of things are planned and i will be able to keep you all updated with news, photo's and other stories of what we are getting up to...

Basically the last few months have been a combination of hammering it out in the studio (the result being 'The Cult of Romance' / 'White Hearts' / 'I Need Love' with a brand new track 'Jungle of the Jaguar' which will be up next week...) and a series of random shows across London. We had some great shows with The Presets and the lovely Ladyhawke last month and still have some good ones to come before xmas.

We signed a single deal with Alain Braxe last week on his french label 'Vulture' and finally have a some material coming out! At the moment we are looking at early March for the release date but things like video/artwork/remixes all have to be sorted so all good fun...

In the mean time, you can catch us at the Cargo Xmas Party (Tuesday 9th Dec) and The Met Lounge, Peterborough (Friday 12th Dec).
